Ricardo grew up dancing Merengue in Venezuela. He was the original founder of "Shanghai Latin Dance (SHLD)" (Which later on evolved to: n'Tempo Dance Studio).

He specializes in Cuban Salsa, Merengue, among other styles of dancing.
